Dramatic Footage of Chicopee Police Brutality Released
Dramatic footage is now public of the arrest that led to a federal lawsuit, claiming police brutality in Massachusetts.
Maylene Maldanado was arrested for assault and battery on a police officer.
She was allegedly drunk and high on PCP.
During the booking process, a sergeant puts his hand around her throat — bringing her to the ground.
This happened after she refused to or could not understand the instructions by police.
The sergeant has since resigned. He is charged with assault.
Several officers are named in the suit.
