Texas Officer Who Pointed Guns at Unarmed Teens Accused of Racism in the Past
MCKINNEY, Texas — David Eric Casebolt, the white cop from McKinney, Texas who pointed his gun at unarmed black teenagers and tackled a black teenage girl to the ground, was sued in the past for racial bias and sexual assault.
Federal court documents reveal the officer was sued in 2008 for sexual harassment, racial profiling, and failure to render aid.
The lawsuit claims Officer Casebolt pulled the plaintiff’s pants down and touched his genitals during a traffic stop in which Casebolt claims he spotted two marijuana seeds.
The plaintiff also said Casebolt made commented on his choice of clothes, and the “white girls” that were with him.
