With protests sweeping the country stemming from police brutality, Boosie BadAzz has decided to tackle the emotional subject in his “Hands Up” video.

The video features raw footage of protesters from Baltimore to Ferguson to New York City, as well as disturbing shots of the murders of Eric Garner, Walter Scott and Tamir Rice.

The four-minute clip ends with Baltimore City State Attorney Marilyn Mosby announcing the decision to file criminal charges against six police officers involved in the death of Freddie Gray.

The slogan “Hands Up, Dont’ Shoot” was used by protestors after 18-year-old Mike Brown was fatally shot by officer Darren Wilson last August.

“Hands Up” will be featured on Boosie BadAzz’s forthcoming album Touchdown 2 Cause Hell.

Last month, the Baton Rouge rapper announced the album’s official release date. He spoke on his latest project during a recent interview with XXL.

“We’re gonna crush the game, puttin’ out this album and showin’ the world why everybody was sayin’ ‘Free Boosie,'” he says. “They weren’t sayin’ ‘Free Boosie’ just to say this. That’s what I tell most people who feel like jail made me famous. Hell nah. They were sayin’ ‘Free Boosie’ because I touch so many people with my music, and they knew that was missing and they wanted that back. People wanted me back, not just as a rapper, but as a father, as a friend. Not just as an artist. People love me for me, not just because I rap.”

The 17-track LP, which features Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Keyshia Cole and more, will be released on May 26.
